Bell heads IP for Haynes & Boone
J.R. Bell, partner in the Austin office of Haynes and Boone LLP, has been selected to lead his firm's intellectual property and technology transactions practice group, the Dallas-based law firm announced Thursday.
Bell has more than 30 years of patent and trademark experience and has prosecuted more than 1,000 mechanical and electro-mechanical patent applications. He will supervise about 50 attorneys and support personnel in various offices. He began his new position Oct. 1.
Bell earned his law degree from the University of Baltimore and his bachelor's degree from Indiana Institute of Technology...
